Helped and partnered with Shigeki Fukuda on his yearly vinyl music event. Back 2 Mono is a vinyl record pop-up experience, celebrating the rich culture and history of music through vinyl records. Back2Mono Volume 2 highlighted Dance Music History. Three different vinyl collections from Manila, Hong Kong, and Japan featured how our dance music sensibilities progressed from the 1970’s to today.
Simple, playful, and ever changing, Back2Mono’s logo uses basic shapes to show different faces and emotions.
The key visual illustrations are inspired by editorial cartoons and The Far Side. I also did the merchandise production – stickers, posters, shirts, record crate labels, and the Japanese curtain, Noren.
