Positive Sports Education

Created by a sports industry professional with a background in positive psychology, Positive Sports Education (PSE) is a program that equips coaches, P.E. instructors, and parents to teach well-being skills to school-aged children through sports.

We developed a strategy and brand identity that communicates Active Positivity—a mindset that combines optimism with intentional action. Both verbal and visual systems were designed to reflect this attitude, encouraging coaches and children to embrace sports as a medium for emotional growth, character-building, and resilience.

PSE’s core message—Championing an Active Positive Mindset—served as the foundation for the brand strategy. Inspired by this philosophy, we defined a brand voice that is empathic, uplifting, and grounded. The tone draws on the energy of mentorship, focusing not on winning but on effort, growth, and the joy of participation. This was carried into the language system, naming conventions, and content structure to keep communications inclusive, motivating, and clear.

The logo is a key expression of the brand’s values. It takes the form of a flower—symbolic of recognition and growth—echoing the idea that every participant deserves acknowledgment, not just winners. The mark captures the spirit of sportsmanship and the holistic wellness PSE promotes. A modular logo system was also developed with stacked, vertical, horizontal, and icon-only formats, ensuring flexibility and consistency across all media.

The visual identity draws from the environment of a good game day—sunshine, fresh air, open fields. A warm and vibrant color palette, led by greens, blues, and yellows, evokes optimism and energy.

A distinctive key visual system based on sports lines—borrowed from courts and fields—was designed to divide, frame, and emphasize content. These lines allow for dynamic layouts while reinforcing the sports context.

To soften rigidity, we introduced PSE Stickers—playful graphic accents that express core values like positivity, growth, empathy, and kindness. These elements make the brand feel accessible and engaging, especially to kids and educators.

Together, these strategic and design components create a cohesive identity that’s both impactful and inclusive—championing every child’s potential through the joy and structure of sport.
